Torajaland – Makassar Tour Package 5 Days and 4 Nights
Day 01. Airport – Pare-pare – Torajaland
Upon arrival at Sultan Hasanuddin airport in Makassar, meeting services with your guide, then by the private ac car drive to through the Peninsula up to Torajaland. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant in Pare-pare. The road to Torajaland start climbing and winding just out side of pare-pare. Coffee break at Bambapuang hill site. Late afternoon arrive in Torajaland. Check into your hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 02. Torajaland Excursion
Breakfast at hotel, then full day excursion in Torajaland by visiting the interesting places such as Lemo for viewing the old stone grave with dozens of effigy stand, solemnly with the valley overlooking below. Visit the royal grave at Suaya and the baby grave of Sangalla. Lunch will be served at local restaurant, afternoon visit the traditional village with typical Torajan houses at Kete Kesu, dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 03. Torajaland Excursion
Breakfast at hotel, then trips is continued by visiting the village of palawa with the beautiful carving old and new themes, drive up to the mountain settlement of Batutumonga to see the beautiful panorama of rice terraces. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. Afternoon visit the cave grave of Londa to see the wooden hanging grave and tau-tau effigy, dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 04. Torajaland – Pare-pare – Makassar
Breakfast at hotel, then drive back to Makassar by passing through the magnificent mountain and cross to the countryside with the tropical plantations such as cacao, coffee and cloves. Pause an route at Puncak Lakawan Bambapuang for coffee break. Lunch will be served at local restaurant in Pare-pare. Then set out to Makassar for check into hotel, dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 05. Makassar city tour – Airport
Breakfast at hotel then proceed city tour in Makassar by visiting Fort Rotterdam, as out standing example of 17 century Dutch fortress architecture, visit Paotere anchorage where the phinisi schooners line the wavers. Visiting the Somba Ompu shopping centre. Lunch will be served at local restaurant then you’ll be transferred to the airport to catch the afternoon flight leaving for the next destination.
